The pub can now boast listings in The Good Food Guide, The Michelin Guide and The Good Pub Guide, which is an enormous achievement in just 18 months of business. Pub classics such as burgers, pie and fish and chips are available alongside their creative restaurant menu throughout the day. From the bread to the after-dinner biscuits, everything is made from scratch. Mark makes his “marvellous marmalade” every year when the Seville oranges are in season. This marmalade is then served to guests that stay for a hearty breakfast in the morning and provides one of the flavours of homemade ice cream. If there are any jars left they are often requested in the hampers that are sold throughout the year and are particularly popular at Christmas time.
